Just a quick update today. Below is a little BTS from last night’s grand opening of photo09 in Zurich. The place was packed with 1500+ people and we all had great time. It’s always nice to meet folks year after year at the biggest photo event in Switzerland. Among some old friends like Klaus-Martin Gareis I had the pleasure of meeting Boris Baldinger, someone I have known “digitally” for some 3 years but had never met in person until last night!
For the third year in a row I will be part of the biggest Swiss Photo Expo, the photo 09! The creme de la creme of Swiss pro and amateur photographers gather for 4 days to show their favorite work from the past year.
I will be showing an excerpt of GLAUBE | LIEBE | HOFFNUNG. The show opens to the general public on Friday 15 January and will run until Monday 18 January. If you happen to be in Switzerland next weekend make sure to drop in! (and give me a heads up so I can meet you!)
Alright, once again it has been more quiet around this blog than I had intended. But I sure won’t miss the opportunity to say thank you and wish you the happiest holiday season possible! Many folks supported me in my photographic endeavors this year and I am very grateful for that!
The image below was taken two days ago for a series I’m working on. While it’s not your classic Christmas postcard, it reminds me that some of us don’t have that perfectly decorated and warm home to go to this Christmas…
